Angel Baked is a social enterprise of North Grand Neighborhood Services that empowers youth through employment, training, and personal development.

Angel Baked Halos are great cookies.

We sell fresh cookies that taste great. We do not use any artificial preservatives, making our cookies wholesome and delicious.   But there is more: when you come to us, you are in for more than great-tasting cookies. By enjoying a cookie from Angel Baked, you are also partnering with North St. Louis youth as they work to develop job skills and grow personally.  We hope that you will be excited about what we are doing and share that excitement with others!

Our History

We began in the Spring of 2007 as a program of North Grand Neighborhood Services, a local non-profit organization committed to the just development of our community.  Our three original Angels worked for months to develop our current recipes, visiting local bakeries, researching recipes, and doing lots of taste tests!

Thanks to the support of individuals and organizations in our community, over twenty Angels have already participated in this program, and it continues to grow!

The Angels are area youth who prepare cookies in our fully-equipped kitchen and work on sales and marketing.  Remaining faithful to our slogan, “our secret recipe is prayer,” each work day begins with a group prayer and reflection.
